David Waechter
The founder and President of Whistle Pig Enterprises, LLC in Lenoir, NC. David organized the firm in 2007 to transform a family farm operation to provide regional aggregation and distribution of biomass feedstock for residential and commercial combined heat and power facilities. David has a track record of innovation and cutting-edge business development experience. Prior to 2007 he was a Partner with Williams Inference Center headquartered in Longmeadow, MA. David has worked in a range of industries including sustainable agriculture, education, and petroleum distribution. David earned bachelors degrees in Biology and Anthropology and a Master of Public Administration from Appalachian State University. David is a certified Corporate Social Responsibility Practitioner recognized by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
Jesse Braswell
Jesse Braswell is Corporate Finance Officer for Verdanté Bioenergy Services. Jesse brings over 35 years of experience managing all aspects of the financial and information needs of growing companies. He has extensive experience in transportation logistics as he has served as Controller in various trucking companies since 1974. He is an innovator not only in technology and finance, but also in social media and web presence.
Patrick Horsley
Patrick Horsley joined Verdanté BioEnergy in January 2013 as I.T. Asset Developer Patrick lives in Lenoir, is a graduate of Caldwell Community College, where he earned an associate in Computer Programming. He went on to work for Lowes IT Service Desk in both the Triage, and the Hardware division. He has extensive experience in building and generally working on computers. Although relatively new to the IT field he strives to become a master in a multitude of IT fields. Currently he is advancing his knowledge in VMware, Android, and general web development.
Leighandra Fitzgerald
Leighandra Fitzgerald is the Executive Assistant for Verdante Bioenergy Services. Leighandra is a native to the area and has lived in Granite Falls for the past 15 years. She plans to graduate in May 2013 from Caldwell Community College with an A.A.S. in Paralegal Technology, and an Office Administration-Receptionist certificate. Her history includes a background in transportation logistics, paralegal services, and a well-rounded expertise of over 16 years in administrative and secretarial work in a multitude of different industries.
Deena Thomas
Deena Thomas is the Marketing Director for Verdante’ Bioenergy Services. She comes from a legal career with over 20 years’ experience working closely with Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. She received a B.S. in Forensic Accounting, thereby expanding her knowledge in the corporate financial and investment sectors. As part of the team at Verdante’ she uses creative strategies to develop and expand the company’s public and technological presence as a leader in the biomass industry.
